New Hampshire Agriculture
The New England colonies farming was very tough during their time. The growing would be very slow, the winter would be really harsh and cold. The soil was rocky, so whenever they wanted to plant something, they would always have to take out the rocks. New Hampshire colonists grew many things from vegetables to maple syrup. Things that they grew were corn, beans, squash, beans, and many other vegetables. Some other things were maple syrup, fruits like apples, tomatoes, and even coffee. They even grew tobacco!
